San Antonio Botanical Garden - March 2015

The Botanical Garden in San Antonio is one of my most favorite places to visit. Each time I walk the flora-rich landscapes of the Garden, I discover something new and beautiful. It always amazes me how diverse and complex each flower and cacti can be, and during this visit I photographed some succulents, ferns, tiny moss, and a variety of seed-pods:

The flowers are amongst the most diverse, since each as its own time in the year for blooming. I managed to capture a blooming Shrimp Flower (first image) and a Bluebonnet:

I also manage to see a lot of animals during each encounter, but they usually are too fast or far to photograph. This time, however, I took some photos of a Mockingbird, a ladybug, and a visiting Ring-tailed Lemur. My brother and I also like to play a meta-game in which we find something new that we have not seen before. Last visit was a frog, and this visit was a green lizard hiding in the topical exhibit:
