San Antonio Botanical Garden - March 2016

While getting lost in the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, I practiced a newly-learned technique of free-lensing to capture macro photographs. Some of the plants included poppy, lichen, moss, and blue bonnets:

We noticed that the Garden removed the swallows' nests, but that didn't stop the birds from trying to rebuild:

Along the path, we came across a few snails, an odd beetle, several centipedes, a chrysalis, and a random swarm of bees:

Since the flowers were blooming, the bugs came out in swarms, and following closely behind them were dozens of lizards. Many of the green ones were flaunting their throat-frill, and the thorny ones were strutting their stuff by doing push-ups:
