Entry 34: HB

Entry 34: HB

Several years ago my best friend had this one particular incident during his birthday.

We just finished watching Star Trek in theaters and we stopped by Taco Bell for a fruit slush. He struggled with the insertion the slushy straw, even after I fooled him in saying that he was supposed to put it in the opposite way, twice. My friend is as clever as he is gullible, in a good and humorous way.

After we got back to his house, his step-father showed him his birthday cake with the inscription "HB Greg" in large letters. We asked why it was written so large, and the dad said the icing bag only allowed large letters, but we pointed out that he forgot to put the icing tip on the bag for small letters. I guess you could say "like father, like son," but they weren't related...

Anyways, every year I always wish friends and family an "HB" instead, because of this one small little mishap that I still find funny to this day.

This is Greg, my best friend, with a hat that he never wanted placed on his head.

HB Greg.
