Entry 99: The Raven
The other night, I had an odd dream...
It was dusk, the sky was orange with the dying light. The forest was auburn from the autumn chill. In the depth of the brush, a giant griffin-like creature walked towards me. The creature had a body like a raven, four limbs, and a grey mask with glowing red eyes.
The raven crawled to me, pinned me to a rock, and proceeded with a barrage of mockery, informing me how it has triumph over a little pathetic weakling.
After I escaped its grasp, I grabbed a pair of wings and flew into the air. The raven leapt into the air and pursued after me. To combat the raven, I cloaked with myself with fire, which would defeat the raven if I wrapped my enflamed arms around the beast.
The problem, however, was that I was not good at flying, and the raven was. I tumbled in the sky as I tried to gain my bearings, flipping and twirling. The raven darted around me, but my fiery body kept it at bay.
And that was my dream...
