Entry 144: Reflections of Oneself
Several years ago, I put together this little website as a means of hosting my artwork and sharing it with others. The website itself went through three versions, each serving as different segment in my personal development. Hey, I'm still in my 20's, so I'm still growing.
My first installment merely put my foot in the water, and I simply uploaded several collections of my work. After a year, I made a revision to the entire layout and the content, and as a result I created my first slogan: More to Ensue.
This was a simple reflection of my unending endeavor to create and explore different methods of art that I'm inexperienced with. By doing so, I made a list of opportunities to create art consistently and express my skills. One of the most challenging and fun exercises was my 12 months of self portraits.
This year (actually this past month), I've been carrying around a camera to work and photographing things here and there. I recently had a spark of creativity when a co-worker showed me her artwork, and this small yet meaningful amount of creativity made me want to accomplish more.
At the same time, I've been reflecting on my own psyche and rethinking life and all of its interesting moments. Internally, I've been working on a new slogan that I'm not ready to unleash to the public, since it's still in its infancy:
More than Myself
