Entry 152: Too Many Dreams
Almost every night for the past month I have had vivid dreams that eventually disappear from my foggy memory. I've known friends who claim they have dreamless nights, which is an honest shame. Several of my project ideas have spawned from dreams, but the rest of my dreams make absolutely no sense in any context.
Last night's dream was about food.
I was watching two toddlers in a McDonald's, and I had to make sure they ate something. They weren't my kids, but I was temporarily responsible for them. After some time, I took one of them outside to a blue truck that had a man inside. It was the father, and he apologized for having me watch his daughter, since he needed a smoke break. I apologized about the child taking too long to eat.
When I was about drive off into the street, I noticed that I had entered my car backwards and was driving in reverse, so I drove back a little and reoriented myself the correct way. I'm not sure how I drove in reverse while facing forward... ?
I later found myself at a neighbor's cookout, and I was in charge of making eggs. I slightly boiled my eggs to prep them, but they were gone the next minute. After looking around and asking others if they had seen my eggs, I found a tinfoil tray covered by a black trash bag. Inside were some half broken eggs shells with egg still in them, but I knew these were not mine since my eggs were not broken.
And that was my dream. I do not recall the other nights' dreams, but perhaps I'll find a way to log each event, no matter how odd they may appear.
