Entry 179: Discouraged
"There are no two words in the English language more harmful than good job." - Terence Fletcher
At Amazon, I like to do a good job. I enjoy the frantic pace of a spiraling crash that occurs when all the problems fall upon me. It is nerve-wrecking, if you can't handle the pressure. If I fail, customers won't get their packages. At $100 for an annual subscription of Prime, a customer would expect their packages to be delivered on time. I know I would.
So it falls on us Amazonians to make this happen, through struggle and harder work. At the same time, we strive for simplicity and accurate work, because our customers deserve it. And I am given a huge responsibility to make this happen. With resistance and chaos, we do our best to overcome.
We are the best in Amazon.
