Modular Island
Created from the remnants of a Best-Lock Military Base, this set was built as a 6-piece sectional island for easy storage and transportation.
Blocky Beaches
This small island contained a sandy beach with an active volcano, while mudslides and caves are found throughout.
Development
When I was stationed in a military base as a kid, these Best-Lock sets were an inexpensive alternative to LEGO, and the cool military vehicle sets they had sparked my childhood imagination. Here is one of the original sets I had to repurposed for this island, which was built around 2012 for my little cousins:
