About Me

Hello, hello! My name is Daniel Cantu II.

My artistic journey began when I was a kid. Growing up as nearsighted, my early viewpoints were limited to the little red-and-black ants that marched in my backyard. After I got my first pair of glasses, my perspective of the world expanded to the trees above, the clouds up high, and the moon beyond it all.

While my admiration for the vistas grew, my deep wonderment for the tiny world, hidden in plain sight, continues to grow. My love for the precise detail in patterns, gradients, and texture influences much of my art to this day.

I graduated from Georgetown College in 2013 with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in Theatre/Performance Studies.
